As of May 1, 2022, Saskatchewan Horse Federation is no longer able to provide insurance coverage to our clubs through the sanctioning process.
Saskatchewan Horse Federation (SHF) was recently informed by AON Reed Stenhouse that they will no longer be supporting insurance for our organization and clubs. This situation has arisen because the insurance underwriters have chosen not to support equine sport.
Due to this removal of coverage, we are unable to provide sanction coverage.
To be a member club, we require a certificate of insurance. Capri CMW has comprehensive packages for liability insurance that would cover clubs hosting events. For more information about their coverages, click here.
Clubs / events that are looking to Permit their shows for the Heritage Circuit or Prairie Cup competition circuits can still do that, with a copy of their certificate of insurance.
