Executive Director

Linda Tiefenbach

I live on a farm 45 km Northeast of Regina and own two horses (a Thoroughbred jumper and a Dutch Warmblood hunter) and a miniature pony.

My equestrian background includes competition in Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Western Pleasure, Hunter, Jumper, Dressage, and Eventing throughout Alberta and British Columbia. I have also served as a Regina Pony Club instructor, English judge (Hunter, Jumper, and Hack) and the Saskatchewan Horse Federation Provincial English Coaching Coordinator.

Professionally, I bring more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in policy, marketing, communications, project management, and procurement across Crown corporations, provincial and municipal governments, publicly traded agribusinesses, and private-sector organizations. Recent roles include consulting for ISC (Information Services Corporation) on community investment and communications programs, and Vice President of Business Development for a Winnipeg advertising agency. Previous positions include Director of Corporate Affairs at SaskEnergy, Executive Council policy advisor, and Executive Assistant to Cabinet Ministers responsible for Justice and Finance. A career highlight was contributing to Viterra’s acquisition of Australia’s ABB Grain.

As a volunteer, I have served as President of the Edenwold Community Club, leading community events and fundraising initiatives, and President of Prairie Skies Musical Theatre Company, where I guided business planning, grant applications, and sponsorship development.

Office Manager

Pam Duckworth

Born in Regina and raised in Milestone and Moose Jaw, I am the youngest of five siblings. My first exposure to horses came through visits to my grandparents’ farm, where an unsuccessful attempt at saddling a horse left me with a healthy respect for them—one that continues today, as I admire horses from afar rather than as an owner.

My career began in the financial sector with Richardson Securities and later TD Bank, where I worked in administrative and service roles for over a decade. Following my banking career, I held administrative positions with Jay’s Moving & Storage and Winacott Western Star. My husband, Tim and I, married in 1986 and settled in Regina in 1999 after many years in Moose Jaw.

In 2012, I joined the Saskatchewan Horse Federation through a temporary placement during AGM season. What began as a short-term assignment quickly became a permanent role. Since then, I have helped transform the office from a paper-heavy operation into a more streamlined and efficient organization. Working with the SHF has provided me with a deeper understanding of Saskatchewan’s equine community, the sport, and the industry, while reinforcing my admiration for the passion horse people bring to their involvement with “the horse.”

Member Engagement Administrator

Margaret Stadnyk

Margaret serves as the Member Engagement Administrator, a role that encompasses a wide range of responsibilities. She assists members with their memberships and manages the administrative work that supports both the Heritage Circuit and the Prairie Cup Series behind the scenes.

An artist from a very young age, Margaret has always considered creativity to be an integral part of who she is. She especially enjoys painting in dry pastel and has worked on projects ranging from large-scale murals to teaching children how to draw. Her artistic achievements include receiving recognition in an international pastel competition.

Margaret has also been an active competitor in Western Dressage for many years. She is a dedicated member of the Saskatchewan Morgan horse community, where she volunteers her time to promote the Morgan breed and has served on the CMHA Board of Directors for many years. She and her husband live on an acreage with their Quarter Horses, Morgans, and Andalusians.

Technical Coordinator

Miah Willard

In her role as Technical Coordinator, Miah Willard supports technical programming, coach education, athlete development initiatives across the province, and works with officials within the province. She brings a strong foundation of practical horsemanship alongside coaching and training experience within the Western Canadian horse industry.
Miah has been involved in the horse world since the age of 13 and remains deeply engaged in the equine community. Her experience across Saskatchewan and Alberta includes a variety of training and competitive environments, giving her a well-rounded and practical understanding of the industry at multiple levels.

Alongside her technical work, Miah is an active hunter/jumper rider, competing regularly in both Saskatchewan and Alberta. This continued involvement in the sport allows her to stay closely connected to current competitive standards and the evolving needs of athletes and coaches.

In addition to her technical and competitive involvement, Miah is passionate about supporting the growth of the sport through clear communication, practical education, and fostering positive connections between coaches, athletes, and officials across the province.

Senior Administrator

Sheena Royko

As a Senior Administrator, I bring experience in customer service, accounting and office management, along with strong organizational and communication skills. I was born and raised in Regina, and have spent my life in the community and value the relationships and connections it has allowed me to build. Following several rewarding years as a stay-at-home mom to my children, I have recently returned to the workforce with a renewed perspective and dedication. Although I am new to the equestrian industry, I have embraced the opportunity to learn and am thoroughly enjoying gaining knowledge in this exciting field and the community that surrounds it.
