The Saskatchewan Paint Horse Club (SPHC) teaches and promotes a high level of Horse Health and Wellness, Training and Professional Showing for individuals who own or have interest in the Paint Horse Breed. SPHC Youth are provided with mentoring and opportunities to develop as both an individual and a rider through age-appropriate educational clinics, shows/classes to increase their knowledge, skills, and abilities. This is promoted and supported annually by a Youth Scholarship fund that acknowledges academic, personal, and equine excellence. Qualified Youth may also be assisted and supported by SPHC to attend National and World Paint Horse Shows to represent Saskatchewan. In 2022, SPHC plans to offer a Fat and Fuzzy Open show, online auction, Combined Breed Horse Show, Breed Excellence Award, riding logs, Year End High Point award, riding and horse health clinics, fun rides and activities in accordance with the Sask Health Authority guidelines.

The Saskatchewan Quarter Horse Association (SQHA) is a provincial affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). The AQHA is the world's largest equine breed registry and membership organization. The SQHA aims to host 3 sanctioned AQHA shows per year. The SQHA often hosts fun youth events and social events at our shows to grow camaraderie amongst our members. We host one to two clinics per year, with an emphasis on encouraging youth participation. The last three years we have provided a free Horse Show Demonstration Day to introduce the sport of horse to youth or people new to the industry.
